PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
This year the photography competition is being sponsored by UKClimbing.
There are three categories and entrants are invited to submit their photographs to one of the following titles:
- Mountains
- To The Limit
- Mountain Flora\Fauna
Prizes for the three categories will be announced soon. There will be a fourth prize for best overall image regardless of category.
- Only digital images are accepted.
- Entrants accepted from Professional and Amateur photographers.
- Please submit entries at 1024 x 768 pixels; 72ppi
JPG or RAW images no larger than 1mb.
- No composite images.
- No borders, frames or watermarks.
- A maximum of three entries per photographer per category.
- If your image is judged to be a winning one, we will require a high resolution copy for display and printing.
- By submitting an image you are claiming sole ownership and copyright of each image.

By entering an image, you are submitting to that image being reproduced, published and exhibited for the promotional purposes of Llanberis Mountain Film Festival.

All images will be credited to the photographer.

The photographer retains the copyright for the image at all times.

Judges
Ray Wood
Recently described in Summit magazine as "one of the most important visual voices of north Wales", Ray Wood's name has been a familiar by-line in the outdoor media for many years. He studied photojournalism at theLondon College of Printing and has combined his love of adventure sports and photography into a busy career. Ray was a featured photographer in Xtreme Sports Photography (RotoVision 2004) and other books featuring his work include Visions of Snowdonia, On This Mountain and One for the Crow. Living on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, Ray particularly values the affective power of landscape and its restorative properties.
