Based in the Marquee Sprayway will be providing the usual selection of free family friendly fun and games, including Orienteering and Treasure Hunt.

Climbing and Coaching Workshops
In association with LLAMFF and the Beacon Climbing Centre local climbing coach and author of "How To Climb Harder" Mark Reeves is offering some coaching workshops to help develop your climbing.
Technique Workshop
Saturday 11am to 1pm
A workshop aimed at helping novice and intermediate climbers improve their movement technique. This is a practical workshop so bring your climbing gear.
Mind Games Workshop
Saturday 2pm to 4pm
This workshop is aimed at intermediate and improving climbers to help address some mental skill for success. Including an introduction to imagery, the use of self talk and planning for success
These workshops will take place at the Beacon Climbing Centre and can be booked through the Climbing Centre Tel:01286 650045 at a cost of £20 per session. All session are restricted to amaximum of 6 people.
NB: If you are not a member of the Beacon Climbing Centre, some form of ID will be required to use the wall

Free activities with the Outdoor Partnership (book in advance)
The choices of activities offered by the Outdoor Partnership are climbing, canoeing and kayaking and they are all free.
All welcome.
The morning session will run from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.
The afternoon session will run from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
There is a limited amount of space on the above activities so make sure you book beforehand through The Outdoor Partnership.
We have a stall situated inside The Marquee, which is located near the Electric Mountain Visitors Centre. (See LLAMFF website for map of location)
If you can make your presence known to members of staff from The Outdoor Partnership 30 minutes before the activity is due to begin. (To receive safety briefing and directions to activity sites)
Participants must be a minimum age of 8.

Photographic Exhibition and more Free Family Fun

School Art Competition and Exhibition
Once again in 2011 we've had a fantastic response to our schools art competition, this year the entries will displayed in and about the Village. So remember to get yourself into the village and check out the artists of tomorrow.
Arddangosfa Gelf ledled y Pentref
Bydd yr arddangosfa gelf, fel arfer, yn arddangos lluniau’r gystadleuaeth i blant yn ogystal â gwaith artistiaid eraill.
Beacon LLAMFF Boulder Competition.
1. Competition starts at 7pm Friday evening and finishes 3pm Sunday.
2. Comp entry costs £2, competitors can have as many sessions trying the problems as they like over the weekend, but will have to pay entry to the wall for each day.
3. There are 20 problems, competitors can attempt each one as many times as they like, successful attempts earn a tick. When competitors have finished they hand their sheet to reception.
4. All the entrant's names go into a hat and we pick out 3 prize draw winners.
5. Prizes: 1st prize = Fender 2nd prize = 10 ticket 3rd prize = cellar dweller set.
If a winner has no phone number recorded, or is not someone we know we can readily get a prize to, pick another.
6. Phone the winners names from each category (M-Open, F-Open, M-U16, F-U16) and the prize draw winners through to LLAMFF reception.

William Mathias First steps in Music
Come and enjoy free family music sessions in the Canolfan led by Marie-Claire, music in education specialist from William Mathias Music Centre. Workshops will be 45 minutes long and are targeted at preschool through to the age of 9. An adult must accompany and be responsible for the children at all times. Please folllow the link below for details. Booking is highly recommended as there are limited spaces.
